Relying on case studies\, this one-day course will provide participan ts with an in-depth understanding of how to engage with an individual duri ng and following a Non-Clinical Assessment of Suicide (NAS). Participants will develop skills to reduce risk\, increase protective factors\, and enh ance the individual&rsquo\;s ability to remain a safe. Following a brief r eview of the NAS and appropriate interventions following an assessment of risk\, participants will practice conducting an NAS interview by engaging in role-play scenarios and receiving feedback on their interview skills. P articipants should have completed the Non-Clinical Assessment of Suicide c ourse and be familiar with the assessment tool prior to enrolling in this advanced course.
