 ndees will discuss strategies for providing support to Trans and Non-Binar
 y students as well as explore the overlap between BIT and Title IX when wo
 rking with this population.</p>\n<p>\n</p>\n<p><strong>Course Description:
 </strong></p>\n<p>\n</p>\n<p>Trans and Non-Binary students face higher rat
 es of discrimination\, negative experiences\, and potentially violent inte
 ractions than their cisgender peers. These experiences can lead to emotion
 al or psychological difficulty\, barriers to academic success\, suicidal i
 deation\, and more. As administrators\, we need to consider the unique cha
 llenges this population may face and be prepared to offer support\, resour
 ces\, and options that address these challenges. In this Talking BITs\, pr
 esenters will discuss strategies for support and intervention as well as e
 xplore the overlap between BIT and Title IX responses.</p>\n<p>\n</p>\n<p>
