 es we face supporting students who struggle with issues of mental health\,
  both diagnosed and undiagnosed while on campus\, it goes without saying t
 hat the challenges and concerns increase as students travel and learn abro
 ad. There are ways we can begin to anticipate how students will be challen
 ged in their accumulation studying abroad. This Talking BITs will discuss 
 what universities can do to assist students to better prepare and to train
  the staff/faculty on the ground while aboard. We will discuss culture sho
 ck\, identifying triggers and engaging in dialogue with a student to estab
 lish baseline behaviors to name a few. Gone are the days of hoping for the
  best as we send students off to an immersive experience but to prepare ou
 rselves and students' regarding their mental health and learning abroad.</
