2025 SSTAGE Promising Promising Practices Conference \;

The 18th Annual
highly acclaimed SSTAGE Promising Practices Conference will feature an op
ening GaDOE update from Justin D. Hill\, Ed.S.\, Associate Superintendent
Whole Child Supports &\; Strategic Partnerships. Dr. Amanda VanDerHeyde
n will share how MTSS is the model to promote growth for all learners prod
ucing a dataset that can be used to inform whole class instruction. Dr. Va
nDerHeyden applies the Science of Instruction and Learning to Math recogni
zing that the underlying science for the Science of Reading translates to
the Science of Math. Dr. Jan Bryan will strategies to get more growth from
all students\, in all subjects\, and at all levels by supercharging Tier
1 instruction. Dr. Carol Johnson will discuss ways to foster academic achi
evement of English Language Learners.

s will share\, during a lunch keynote\, her personal story and how she cur
rently advocates for a collaborative effort among educators and community
members to empower all students to reach their fullest potential.

Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)\, Response to Intervention (RtI)\,
Student Support Teams (SST)\, and Whole Child Supports featuring elementar
y\, middle\, and high schools along with districts from around the state i
mplementing highly effective practices with successful outcomes\, and a wi
de array of special interest topics that are informative and practical fro
m expert educators including several from GaDOE/
GaMTSS. \;

\n\nCancellation/Refund Policy: \;To cancel participation for an event\, SSTAGE must receive written notice (email jwhitehead@gael.org) seven cale ndar days prior to the scheduled workshop/conference. An administrative fe e of $25.00 will be charged for cancellations. Requests for a refund must be received in writing at least seven calendar days prior to the start of the conference and must be addressed to jwhitehead@gael.org. SSTAGE encour ages participants to find a substitute. Replacements will be welcome\, and there will be no charge to transfer a registration to a colleague for the event. Advance notice of replacements is preferred. If an individual regi sters and does not attend the event\, he/she will be marked as a "no show" and the full conference fees shall apply. Registrants are responsible for payment. Refunds will not be made for &ldquo\;no shows&rdquo\;. Refunds a nd reimbursements will not be transferable to other workshops or conferenc es. In the event of inclement weather which may impede or prevent conferen ce attendance\, or which may give cause to fully cancel the conference\, a credit will be provided to the \;registran t or school/system.
