 trong>Professional Standards Commission</strong> will provide a certificat
 ion update on Thursday.&nbsp\; <strong>Phil Hartley</strong> will be prese
 nting a legislative update session on Friday.&nbsp\; Dr. Curtis Jones\, Su
 perintendent of Bibb County Schools\, will be our keynote speaker. &nbsp\;
 Dr. Jones has received numerous accolades during his tenure in education.&
 nbsp\; He currently serves as a governing board member for the American As
 sociation of School Administrators (ASSA) and Past President for the Georg
 ia School Superintendents Association (GSSA).&nbsp\; He received the Bill 
 Barr Leadership Award from GSSA and the President&rsquo\;s Award in 2012.&
 nbsp\; In 2015\, he was one of the finalists for the 2015 Georgia Superint
 endent of the Year Award.&nbsp\; He has served as a member of the Georgia 
 Professional Standards Commission Ethics Task Force</span>.&nbsp\; </span>
