 Program. She is currently the CEO of Dr. Kate Kinsella &amp\; Associates\,
  an educational research\, professional development\, and consulting firm 
 dedicated to academic English learner achievement. A highly demanded prese
 nter\, she has provided training for teachers of English learners and stri
 ving readers throughout the nation. Her highly interactive and practical p
 rofessional learning sessions address ways to equip youths from diverse ec
 onomic and linguistic backgrounds with the academic English language and l
 iteracy skills to be truly college ready. She is the author of research-va
 lidated instructional programs to support English learners and struggling 
 readers\, including READ 180\, English 3D\, Language Launch\, and the Acad
 emic Vocabulary Toolkit. learners in Moreno Valley\, California. Her Engli
 sh language development program\, English 3D\, was the curricular anchor f

  teacher and instructional coach\, where she found her true passion in edu

 color: #2b2b2b\;">Becoming a school-based instructional coach opened new p
 ossibilities for how to support education. After serving her school for tw

 ssica received her doctoral degree in School Improvement from the Universi

  Sciences High and Middle College in San Diego\, California. Smith is pass

 lor: #222222\;"> on restorative practices\, classroom management\, growth 
 mindset\, and the culture of achievement. Dominique also provides professi
 onal learning o K-12 teachers in small and large groups that address class
 room and school climate and organization. He holds a doctorate in educatio
 nal leadership from San Diego State University with an emphasis on equity 
 as well as a master&rsquo\;s degree in social work from the University of 
 Southern California. Dominique also holds credentials from San Diego State
  University in administrative services\, child welfare\, PPS\, and attenda
 nce. Smith has been recognized with the National School Safety Award from 
 the School Safety Advocacy Council. In 2018\, he delivered a TED Talk on b
 uilding relationships between students and teachers.</span></p>\n<p style=

  at San Diego State University and a teacher leader at Health Sciences Hig

 ng and impacting professional learning communities. Fisher is the recipien
 t of an International Reading Association Celebrate Literacy Award\, the F
 armer Award for excellence in writing from the National Council of Teacher
 s of English\, as well as a Christa McAuliffe Award for excellence in teac
 her education. Doug Fisher has been the lead author on numerous books incl
 uding The Distance Learning Playbook\, The Teacher Clarity Playbook\, Beco
 ming an Assessment Capable Visible Learner\, Visible Learning for Literacy
 \, Teaching Literacy in the Visible Learning Classroom\, and many others.
