2023 SSTAGE Promising P ractices Conference \;

The 16^{th Annual highly acclaimed SSTAGE Promisi
ng Practices Conference will feature an opening keynote and two conference
sessions from Dr. Mary Hemphill\, the author of The One-Minute Meeting: Creating Student Stakeholders
in Schools\, which teaches h
ow to leverage a unique instructional practice called the One-Minute Meeti
ng to authentically glean information from students to fully engage and em
power them. Concurrent conference sessions will focus on the most promisin
g practices for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)\, Response to Inter
vention (RtI)\, and Student Support Teams (SST) featuring elementary\, mid
dle\, and high schools along with districts from around the state implemen
ting highly effective practices with successful outcomes\, and a wide arra
y of special interest topics that are informative and practical from exper
t educators including several from GaDOE/GaMTSS.}

Cancellation Polic y: \;To cancel \;participation for an event\, SSTAGE must receive writ ten notice (email jwhitehead@gael.org) seven \;calendar days prior to the schedu led workshop/conference. \; \;An administrative \;fee \;of $25.00 \;will be \;charged \;for cancellations. \; \; Requests for a refund \;must be received in writing at \;least sev en \;calendar days prior to the start of the conference \;and must be addressed to jwhitehead@gael.org. SSTAGE encourages \;participants to \;find a subs titute. Replacements will be welcome\, and \;there will be no charge t o transfer a registration to a colleague for the event. \; Advance not ice of replacements is preferred. \; \;If an individual registers and does not attend the event\, he/she will be marked \;as a "no show" and the full confe rence fees shall apply.
