Adr ian Peterson: \;Perhaps the greatest pla yer to ever suit up in Statesboro\, Peterson&rsquo\;s No. 3 jersey is reti red at Georgia Southern and he still stands as the NCAA&rsquo\;s Division I all-time leading rusher with 6\,559 yards in regular-season contests. He is already a member of GS&rsquo\;s Athletics Hall of Fame and was inducte d into the College Football Hall of Fame in December. He was a sixth-round draft choice of the Chicago Bears in 2002 and was a Super Bowl XLI partic ipant. He was inducted as a member of the inaugural SoCon Hall of Fame cla ss in 2009 and was a unanimous choice for induction into the Georgia South ern Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2012 in his first year of eligibility. He is well known for his charity work and advocacy of the importance of e ducation. He has dedicated his life to motivational speaking and working w ith multiple charities. Trent North: \;Superintendent Trent North began his tenure wi th the Douglas County School System in 2017. As leader of the state&rsquo\ ;s 17th-largest school district\, he oversees 35 schools\, 3\,300 employee s and 25\,000 students. Throughout his 28 years in education\, he has main tained an unwavering commitment to seeing every student excel. \;Mr. North has ex pertise in learning\, teaching\, and administration at all levels of publi c education. His influence on educational policies extends throughout Geor gia. He is a member of several state committees\, including Governor Kemp& rsquo\;s advisory committee on education. Due to commitments to our facilities/partners \;and the limit of in-person registration s\, all cancellations up to September 19th are subject to a cancellation f ee of $100.00. (Cancellation fee will be waived if you choose to retain yo ur 2022-2023 GAESP membership). Cancellations after September 19th will be charged the full registration fee. No-shows at the conference will be cha rged the full registration fee. All cancelations must be in writing. Pleas e email hbeaver@gael.org to cancel. \;A contingency cancellation policy will go into eff ect if we are unable to host the 2022 Fall GAESP/GAMSP \;Conference safely\, according to CDC g uidelines\, government mandates\, or similar reasons. NO CANCELLATION PENA LTY will be assessed. A credit for the conference portion will be applied\ , and you will retain membership in GAESP/GAMSP. If you desire a refund\, GAESP/GAMSP \;will refund the conference porti on of the registration.
