\n The first session will focus on the pathoph ysiology and diagnosis of various esophageal diseases including megaesopha gus\, strictures\, and brachy- cephalic-associated disease. Vomiting and I BD - Dr. Jones will follow with a discussion on the various mechanisms of vomiting and the current thoughts and recommendations regarding inflammato ry bowel disease in dogs. Pancreatitis (Part I&\;II) - The closing lect ure will discuss the pathophysiology\, risk factors\, and diagnosis of acu te pan- creatitis in dogs as well as current trends in treatment.

Feline-Friendly Handling Techniques &ndash\; Minimizing the Fear\, Maximizing the Comfort. The last session wi ll review how cats handle and exhibit signs of stress and how practitioner s can help reduce fear and stress in the cats presenting to clinics.
