\nAdults have specific learning needs. As you plan professional learning for the rest of the year and for years ahe ad\, ensure that you&rsquo\;re providing educators with targeted\, highly engaging professional learning that develops their capacity to implement n ew learning in their schools and classrooms.
\nIn this course\, prof essional learning leaders and administrators will implement a professional learning framework\, grounded in the Standards for Professional Learn ing\, that promotes high levels of learning and retention\, and incre ases adult learners&rsquo\; capacity and desire to implement new learning.

\nBoth new and experienced professional learning fa cilitators will gain knowledge\, tools\, and strategies for face-to-face\, virtual\, and hybrid professional learning as they develop their own lear ning designs during the course. They will engage in highly interactive ses sions and networking opportunities with peers\, and receive easy-to-use re sources and design support from expert Learning Forward Texas facilitators Trish Hinze and Terri Iles.

\nThe course begins Jul y 18 with our first live session\, and runs through August 8. Live session s will take place from 3-5 p.m. Eastern.

\n\nTrish Hinze \;brings more than 30 years of expe rience to the role of educational consultant and professional learning lea der. \;Her areas of expertise are leadership development\, andragogy\, and team practices that build educator emotional intelligence and collect ive efficacy As owner and CEO of Hinze Consulting\, Trish designs and deli vers interactive and high-energy professional learning for teams\, campuse s\, and districts across the nation. Trish has served as a classroom teach er\, assistant principal\, campus principal and district administrator in a wide variety of settings\, including small rural schools\, as well as su burban and large urban districts. She is a state and national presenter\, and facilitates adult learning in face-to-face settings as well as the vir tual environment. \;Trish is a consultant and trainer for Learning For ward Texas\, where she previously served as a board member and conference co-chair.

\nTerri Iles \;has 42 years of educational e
xperience as a teacher\, college adjunct professor\, elementary principal\
, director of quality learning\, educational consultant\, and Executive Di
rector of Learning Forward Texas. \;Terri earned her bachelor&rsquo\;s
degree from Texas Christian University and has a master&rsquo\;s degree i
n educational administration from University of Texas. She taught all grad
e levels and designed multiple programs in elementary schools for 18 years
before moving into the Principalship and District Administration. Her par
tnerships and consulting opportunities began with Jim Shipley and Associat
es upon retirement and continues\, allowing her to work with educators acr
oss the US and China. Terri also currently serves on the Board of Director
s for BridgesWork and as a trainer for Learning Forward Texas following he
r retirement as the organizations&rsquo\; Executive Director.
