 <p>The OHCA Role of the Nurse in Community-Based Care (CBC) course is a 19
 -hour training program featuring a combination of live webinar training\, 
 online learning modules\, tools\, and resources.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Par
 ticipants will discuss the foundations and basic principles of CBC nursing
  in assisted living and residential care settings and how to operationaliz
 e the critical roles and responsibilities of a CBC nurse.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>P
 articipants will explore the scope of the setting and practice\, health se
 rvice related regulations including medication administration and regulato
 ry focuses\; delegation\; service planning\; and RN oversight/assessment o
 f resident health care needs\, quality improvement systems and documentati
 on.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Participants will discover how to implement proven syst
 ems that support efficient and quality health care services and will ident
 ify how to prioritize responsibilities and time management to strengthen c
 urrent health services programs in their communities.</p>\n<p>This course 
 consists of 3-days of live virtual instruction (9:00am - 2:00pm) and appro
 ximately 3.5 hours of self-directed online learning modules daily.&nbsp\;<
