 he OHCA Resident Care Coordinator in Community-Based Care training program
  was created to meet the training needs for new and experienced RCCs/RCMs 
 working in assisted living and residential care communities in Oregon.<str
 ong>&nbsp\; To successfully complete this course\, attendees will be asked
  to attend live virtual instruction\, complete online learning modules and
  reading assignments.</strong></p>\n<p>This three-day intensive orientatio
 n to the roles and responsibilities of the resident care coordinator/manag
 er in community-based care will benefit both new and experienced assisted 
 living and residential care professionals. The purpose of this course is t
 o familiarize the learner with the role of the resident care coordinator a
 nd the skills needed to perform this role. Pertinent regulations and proce
 sses will be examined. The course engages the learner in service plan deve
 lopment\, the elements of a safe medication system\, change of condition a
 nd monitoring requirements\, abuse and neglect reporting\, and quality imp
