\n The theme for the 2022 State of the Science (SOS) Congress on Nursing Research is Social &\; Structural Determin ants of Health. The 2022 State of the Science Congress on Nursing Research will expand participants&rsquo\; understanding of the complex re lationships between social and structural determinants of health - from bi ology to policy - and nursing science. These relationships will be explore d with respect to advancing health equity. \; \n \n REGISTRATION BENEFITS \n < ul>\n
\n The Academy will take additional mea sures to protect the health and safe ty of the participants at the State of the Science Congress being held September 15 - 17\, 2022 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington\, DC. Specifica lly\, we will require all registered attendees and speakers to be fully va ccinated\, as outlined by the CDC\, to participate in-person at the confer ence. For individuals who are unable to be vaccinated due to medical or\n religious reasons\, proof of a negative test within 72 hours pr ior to arriving on-site at the event will be\n required. In-per son attendees will be required to upload their vaccination card or negativ e test through\n a secure portal. Additionally\, attendees will be required to execute a liability waiver related to potential exposure. \n \n The Academy continues to monitor and adjust our health and safety measures as the course of the pandemic un folds. The Academy requests that all attendees and guests are familiar wit h and agree to\n uphold the public safety measures laid out by the District of Columbia&rsquo\;s Health Department and the\n C enters for Disease Control and Prevention on masking \, social distancing\, travel\, inter national travel\,\n and testing. While masks are no t currently required in DC\, the Academy does encourage participants to we ar them indoors.
