 nce Collection Technician program is designed to verify an applicant's fun
 damental knowledge as measured against core job performance requirements o
 f established professional qualifications\, standards and standard industr
 y practices related to evidence collection on fire scenes. This measuremen
 t is not all inclusive of the incorporated professional standards sited\, 
 but lays the foundation for measuring the holder's fundamental ability to 
 perform specific evidence collection tasks related to fire scene investiga
 tion at an acceptable level as measured against published acceptable pract
 ices.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>The applicant must provide document
 ation of meeting minimum requirements including experience\, training\, an
 d education. Upon approval they must successfully pass a comprehensive pra
 cticum examination.</div>\n<div><em><strong><br />\n</strong></em></div>\n
 <div><em><strong>Requirements/Experience:</strong></em></div>\n<div>A mini
 mum of 18 months of general experience in a fire investigation related ind
 ustry.</div>\n<div>A minimum of 12 items of forensic evidence collected. T
 he applicant is responsible for submitting general supporting documents th
 at include the location of the examination\, the date of the examination\,
  and the particular type(s) of evidence collected.</div>\n<div><br />\n</d
