 xpert Witness Courtroom Testimony course walks you through what it&rsquo\;
 s like to prepare for and testify as an expert witness in a real case. Dur
 ing the class\, you will spend time with actual attorneys giving your depo
 sition\, preparing for your testimony\, as well as spending the day in a r
 eal courtroom environment where you will take the stand for direct and cro
 ss-examination.</div>\n<div>The classroom portion includes Legal System Ov
 erview\; Court Rules and Case Law\; Qualifying as an Expert and Standing b
 y Your Curriculum Vitae\; and How to Write and Present Your Opinion Analys
 is.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>The court preparation portion include
 s The Practical Exercise\; Court Exhibits: How to Present and what should 
 be Included\; Presentation of Evidence: Best Practices\; and Working with 
 an Attorney.</div>\n<p>This course meets the testimony requirement for IAA
 I-CFI&reg\; (IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator) application.</p>\n<p>\n</p>
 \n<div>Prerequisites:</div>\n<div>Work Experience: A minimum of four years
 &rsquo\; full-time or five years&rsquo\; part-time general experience in t
 he fire investigation industry. Specific Work Experience: A minimum of sev
 en fire scenes that you were the lead Origin &amp\; Cause Investigator.</d
 iv>\n<div><strong>Able to meet all the requirements of the IAAI-CFI&reg\; 
 application except for the expert witness testimony requirement.</strong><
