 ></p>\n<p><strong><em>This IAAI course of instruction will be held at the 
 United States Department of Justice&rsquo\;s Bureau of Alcohol\, Tobacco\,
  Firearms\, &amp\; Explosives&rsquo\; National Center for Explosives Train
 ing &amp\; Research located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville\, Alabama. R
 edstone Arsenal is a United States Government Installation. Since the trai
 ning will be held at a U.S. Government Installation\, the course is only o
 ffered to U.S. student attendees at this time. Due to existing security pr
 ocedures\, foreign\, non-U.S. student attendees may not register for this 
 course of instruction.</em></strong></p>\n<p>The Expert Witness Courtroom 
 Testimony course walks you through what it&rsquo\;s like to prepare for an
 d testify as an expert witness in a real case. During the class\, you will
  spend time with actual attorneys giving your deposition\, preparing for y
 our testimony\, as well as spending the day in a real courtroom environmen
 t where you will take the stand for direct and cross-examination.</p>\n<di
 v>The classroom portion includes Legal System Overview\; Court Rules and C
 ase Law\; Qualifying as an Expert and Standing by Your Curriculum Vitae\; 
 and How to Write and Present Your Opinion Analysis.</div>\n<div><br />\n</
 div>\n<div>The court preparation portion includes The Practical Exercise\;
  Court Exhibits: How to Present and what should be Included\; Presentation
  of Evidence: Best Practices\; and Working with an Attorney.</div>\n<div>T
 his course meets the testimony requirement for IAAI-CFI&reg\; (IAAI-Certif
 ied Fire Investigator) application.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div><em>C

  />\n</div>\n<div><strong>Prerequisites:</strong></div>\n<div>Work Experie
 nce: A minimum of four years&rsquo\; full-time or five years&rsquo\; part-
 time general experience in the fire investigation industry. Specific Work 
 Experience: A minimum of seven fire scenes that you were the lead Origin &
 amp\; Cause Investigator.</div>\n<div>Able to meet all the requirements of
  the IAAI-CFI&reg\; application except for the expert witness testimony re

 you have six weeks to prepare and submit. Students will be required to upd
 ate (or create) their Curriculum Vitae (CV)\, develop an opinion analysis
