 br />\nThe Evidence Collection Technician (ECT) program is designed to ver
 ify an applicant's fundamental knowledge and practical skills in evidence 
 collection at fire scenes. The evaluation is based on established professi
 onal qualification standards and industry best practices. This program pro
 vides the foundation for assessing an individual's competency in performin
 g specific evidence collection tasks in accordance with accepted practices
 .<br />\n<br />\nApplicants must meet eligibility requirements in experien
 ce\, education\, and training\, and successfully complete a comprehensive

 ; Renewal<br />\nSuccessful candidates will be awarded ECT certification.<
 br />\nRenewal is required every five years.<br />\n<br />\nApplication &a
 mp\; Registration<br />\n<br />\nApplicants for this professional designat
 ion shall submit reference letters from their employers confirming an unde
 rstanding of core job performance requirements (JPRs) outlined in establis
 hed professional qualifications standards and standard industry practices 
 related to evidence collection demonstrated at fire scenes in the precedin
 g 18 months.<br />\n<br />\nRegistration Fee:<br />\n- IAAI Members: $200<
 br />\n- Non-Members: $200</p>\n<p style="font-weight: bold\;"><span class
 ="cf0">Cancellation and Refund Policy</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Can
 cellations received 31 days or more prior to the course start date are eli
 gible for a full refund of the registration fee.</span></p>\n<p><span clas
 s="cf1">Cancellations received within 30 days of the course start date are
  non-refundable.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Registrants who are unab
 le to attend may\, at the discretion of the International Association of A
 rson Investigators (IAAI)\, substitute another eligible individual from th
 e same organization\, provided written notice is received prior to the cou
 rse start date.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Failure to attend a cours
 e without prior written cancellation (no-shows) will not be eligible for a
  refund.</span></p>\n<p><strong>\n</strong></p>\n<p><strong>All IAAI cours
 es are subject to cancellation or postponement at any time due to unforese
 en circumstances. Registered participants will be notified as soon as poss
 ible.</strong><br />\n<br />\n<strong><span class="cf0">Notice</span><span
