 arding the training topics:<br />\n<br />\nCFI Jeff Pauley\, Chairman of t
 he IAAI Safety Committee\, will discuss fire investigator health and safet
 y best practices.  Educating fire investigators on health and safety proto
 cols after a fire\, is important to ensuring fewer incidences of chronic a
 nd life-threatening health conditions and illnesses caused by exposure. <b
 r />\n<br />\nElectrical Engineer Chris Graham of Center Engineering\, wil
 l provide hands-on training in the area of electrical fires.  The specific
  topics covered will include solar systems\, bathroom fans and dryers.<br 
 />\n<br />\nMaryland Deputy Fire Marshal Dexter Hodges\, will discuss a lo
 ng-term federal arson investigation in the City of Baltimore. The investig
 ation resulted in the conviction of three individuals\, two of which were 
 involved in a complex arson-for-profit scheme and a conspiracy to murder a
  witness and other offenses.  <br />\n<br />\nWayne Miller\, a retired ATF
  Special Agent/CFI will discuss an extensive arson investigation which is 
 the subject of his new book\, Burn Boston Burn-The Largest Arson Case in t
 he History of the Country.  The investigation involved a conspiracy of 9 m
 en\, including 3 Boston police officers and a Boston firefighter\, who bur
 ned structures in Boston and surrounding communities in the early 1980&rsq
 uo\;s due to tax-cutting measures that caused layoffs of hundreds of polic
 e and firefighters. Over 2 years\, these individuals\, turned arsonists\, 
 torched 264 buildings\, causing millions of dollars in damages and hundred
