 <br />\n<br />\nThe Evidence Collection Technician (ECT) program is design
 ed to verify an applicant's fundamental knowledge and practical skills in 
 evidence collection at fire scenes. The evaluation is based on established
  professional qualification standards and industry best practices. This pr
 ogram provides the foundation for assessing an individual's competency in 
 performing specific evidence collection tasks in accordance with accepted 
 practices.<br />\n<br />\nApplicants must meet eligibility requirements in
  experience\, education\, and training\, and successfully complete a compr

 ion &amp\; Renewal<br />\nSuccessful candidates will be awarded ECT certif
 ication.<br />\nRenewal is required every five years.<br />\n<br />\nAppli
 cation &amp\; Registration<br />\n<br />\nApplicants for this professional
  designation shall submit reference letters from their employers confirmin
 g an understanding of core job performance requirements (JPRs) outlined in
  established professional qualifications standards and standard industry p
 ractices related to evidence collection demonstrated at fire scenes in the
  preceding 18 months.<br />\n<br />\nRegistration Fee:<br />\n- IAAI Membe

 pan class="cf0">Cancellation and Refund Policy</span></p>\n<p><span class=
 "cf1">Cancellations received 31 days or more prior to the course start dat
 e are eligible for a full refund of the registration fee.</span></p>\n<p><
 span class="cf1">Cancellations received within 30 days of the course start
  date are non-refundable.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Registrants who
  are unable to attend may\, at the discretion of the International Associa
 tion of Arson Investigators (IAAI)\, substitute another eligible individua
 l from the same organization\, provided written notice is received prior t
 o the course start date.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Failure to atten
 d a course without prior written cancellation (no-shows) will not be eligi
 ble for a refund.</span></p>\n<p><strong>\n</strong></p>\n<p><strong>All I
 AAI courses are subject to cancellation or postponement at any time due to
  unforeseen circumstances. Registered participants will be notified as soo
