\nTrack A is designed to
provide all Sworn Arson Investigators specific training to meet and obtain
the minimum annual standards established by the Illinois Governmental Law
Enforcement Training Advisory Board requirements for all Sworn Peace Offi
cers in the State of Illinois.
\n
\nThis training will incl
ude both classroom and practical training applications in the Use of Force
with scenario-based training\, Illinois Criminal Statues - Legal Updates\
, Responding to Mental Health issues\, Constitutional Law\, Proper Use of
Authority\, and Procedural Law related to Search and Seizure.
\nAll Ars
on Investigators attending the practical portions of the training are requ
ested NOT TO BRING or WEAR ANY FIREARM at the PTI Training Facility during
the practical portion of the class. This is a PTI (Police Training Instit
ute) Safety Requirement to ensure the safety of all students and instructo
rs while on site and during the Use of Force Scenario portion of the class
.
