 iv>The Expert Witness Courtroom Testimony course walks you through what it
 &rsquo\;s like to prepare for and testify as an expert witness in a real c
 ase. During the class\, you will spend time with actual attorneys giving y
 our deposition\, preparing for your testimony\, as well as spending the da
 y in a real courtroom environment where you will take the stand for direct
  and cross-examination.</div>\n<div>The classroom portion includes Legal S
 ystem Overview\; Court Rules and Case Law\; Qualifying as an Expert and St
 anding by Your Curriculum Vitae\; and How to Write and Present Your Opinio
 n Analysis.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>The court preparation portion
  includes The Practical Exercise\; Court Exhibits: How to Present and what
  should be Included\; Presentation of Evidence: Best Practices\; and Worki
 ng with an Attorney.</div>\n<p>This course meets the testimony requirement
  for IAAI-CFI&reg\; (IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator) application.</p>\n<
 p>\n</p>\n<div>Prerequisites:</div>\n<div>Work Experience: A minimum of fo
 ur years&rsquo\; full-time or five years&rsquo\; part-time general experie
 nce in the fire investigation industry. Specific Work Experience: A minimu
 m of seven fire scenes that you were the lead Origin &amp\; Cause Investig
 ator.</div>\n<div><strong>Able to meet all the requirements of the IAAI-CF
 I&reg\; application except for the expert witness testimony requirement.</
