 \nThe Evidence Collection Technician (ECT) program is designed to verify a
 n applicant's fundamental knowledge and practical skills in evidence colle
 ction at fire scenes. The evaluation is based on established professional 
 qualification standards and industry best practices. This program provides
  the foundation for assessing an individual's competency in performing spe
 cific evidence collection tasks in accordance with accepted practices.<br 
 />\n<br />\nApplicants must meet eligibility requirements in experience\, 
 education\, and training\, and successfully complete a comprehensive pract

 ewal<br />\nSuccessful candidates will be awarded ECT certification.<br />

 Registration<br />\n<br />\nApplicants for this professional designation s
 hall submit reference letters from their employers confirming an understan
 ding of core job performance requirements (JPRs) outlined in established p
 rofessional qualifications standards and standard industry practices relat
 ed to evidence collection demonstrated at fire scenes in the preceding 18 
 months.<br />\n<br />\nRegistration Fee:<br />\n- IAAI Members: $200<br />
 \n- Non-Members: $200</p>\n<p style="font-weight: bold\;"><span class="cf0
 ">Cancellation and Refund Policy</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Cancella
 tions received 31 days or more prior to the course start date are eligible
  for a full refund of the registration fee.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf
 1">Cancellations received within 30 days of the course start date are non-
 refundable.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Registrants who are unable to
  attend may\, at the discretion of the International Association of Arson 
 Investigators (IAAI)\, substitute another eligible individual from the sam
 e organization\, provided written notice is received prior to the course s
 tart date.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Failure to attend a course wit
 hout prior written cancellation (no-shows) will not be eligible for a refu
 nd.</span></p>\n<p><strong>\n</strong></p>\n<p><strong>All IAAI courses ar
 e subject to cancellation or postponement at any time due to unforeseen ci
 rcumstances. Registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.
