 w<br />\n<br />\nThe Evidence Collection Technician (ECT) program is desig
 ned to verify an applicant's fundamental knowledge and practical skills in
  evidence collection at fire scenes. The evaluation is based on establishe
 d professional qualification standards and industry best practices. This p
 rogram provides the foundation for assessing an individual's competency in
  performing specific evidence collection tasks in accordance with accepted
  practices.<br />\n<br />\nApplicants must meet eligibility requirements i
 n experience\, education\, and training\, and successfully complete a comp

 tion &amp\; Renewal<br />\nSuccessful candidates will be awarded ECT certi
 fication.<br />\nRenewal is required every five years.<br />\n<br />\nAppl
 ication &amp\; Registration<br />\n<br />\nApplicants for this professiona
 l designation shall submit reference letters from their employers confirmi
 ng an understanding of core job performance requirements (JPRs) outlined i
 n established professional qualifications standards and standard industry 
 practices related to evidence collection demonstrated at fire scenes in th
 e preceding 18 months.<br />\n<br />\nRegistration Fee:<br />\n- IAAI Memb

 span class="cf0">Cancellation and Refund Policy</span></p>\n<p><span class
 ="cf1">Cancellations received 31 days or more prior to the course start da
 te are eligible for a full refund of the registration fee.</span></p>\n<p>
 <span class="cf1">Cancellations received within 30 days of the course star
 t date are non-refundable.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Registrants wh
 o are unable to attend may\, at the discretion of the International Associ
 ation of Arson Investigators (IAAI)\, substitute another eligible individu
 al from the same organization\, provided written notice is received prior 
 to the course start date.</span></p>\n<p><span class="cf1">Failure to atte
 nd a course without prior written cancellation (no-shows) will not be elig
 ible for a refund.</span></p>\n<p><strong>\n</strong></p>\n<p><strong>All 
 IAAI courses are subject to cancellation or postponement at any time due t
 o unforeseen circumstances. Registered participants will be notified as so
 on as possible.</strong><br />\n<br />\n<strong><span class="cf0">Notice</

 rse may be used for IAAI promotional purposes\, including the website and
