  day class on investigating fires on marine vessels. Developed through a c
 ollaboration between the IAAI and the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABY
 C)\, students receive training from IAAI facilitators\, industry leading m
 arine fire investigations\, marine surveyors\, engineers and special inves
 tigators. Topics will include the following: safety\, hot surface ignition
 \, marine explosions\, electrical systems\, vessel terminology\, interview
 s\, data collection\, scientific method\, methodology\, legal consideratio
 ns and evidence. Utilizing the team concept\, classes conclude with a hand
 s-on investigation of a Pre-burnt vessel\, generation of a preliminary rep
 ort\, and presentation of each team's findings to the class.</div>\n<div><
 br />\n</div>\n<div>Upon completion of this class\, students will understa
 nd marine vessel terminology\, concepts of how marine electrical and propu
 lsion systems are configured and operate\, and safe and practical methods 
 of investigating marine fires.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>Class star
