 >The Evidence Collection Technician program is designed to verify an appli
 cant's fundamental knowledge as measured against core job performance requ
 irements of established professional qualifications\, standards and standa
 rd industry practices related to evidence collection on fire scenes. This 
 measurement is not all inclusive of the incorporated professional standard
 s sited\, but lays the foundation for measuring the holder's fundamental a
 bility to perform specific evidence collection tasks related to fire scene
  investigation at an acceptable level as measured against published accept
 able practices.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>The applicant must provid
 e documentation of meeting minimum requirements including experience\, tra
 ining\, and education. Upon approval they must successfully pass a compreh
 ensive practicum examination.</div>\n<div><em><strong><br />\n</strong></e
 m></div>\n<div><em><strong>Requirements/Experience:</strong></em></div>\n<
 div>A minimum of 18 months of general experience in a fire investigation r
 elated industry.</div>\n<div>A minimum of 12 items of forensic evidence co
 llected. The applicant is responsible for submitting general supporting do
 cuments that include the location of the examination\, the date of the exa
 mination\, and the particular type(s) of evidence collected.</div>\n<div><
