  training course will prepare experienced fire investigators to serve as a
  safety officer/manager/supervisor at a large or complex fire investigatio
 n. The course material includes the latest safety information from a wide 
 variety of sources and incorporates relevant FEMA ICS Safety Officer infor
 mation.&nbsp\;<br />\n<br />\n<strong></strong>\n<div><strong>Topics cover
 ed:</strong></div>\n<div>1. The Role of the Fire Investigation Safety Offi
 cer: Before\, During\, and After the Investigation&nbsp\;</div>\n<div>2. H
 azards and Risk</div>\n<div>3. An Overview of Post-fire Scene Health Hazar
 ds</div>\n<div>4. Building Systems and Construction</div>\n<div>5. Safety 
 Hazards\, Prevention Methods\, and Procedures</div>\n<div>6. Responding to
  Damaged Structures</div>\n<div>7. Post-incident Responsibilities</div>\n<
 div>There will be a final group activity where a written safety assessment

 <div><strong>Prerequisites:</strong> Prospective students must have at lea
 st three years of fire scene exam experience and have successfully complet
