 prehensive instruction on the identification\, preservation\, and collecti
 on of evidence at fire and arson scenes. Participants will gain knowledge 
 of proper techniques\, tools\, and protocols that ensure evidence is colle
 cted systematically and maintained in a manner that upholds its integrity 
 and reliability throughout the investigative process.&nbsp\;<br />\n<br />
 \nThrough a combination of lecture and practical discussion\, students wil
 l explore common types of physical evidence encountered during fire invest
 igations\, learn strategies to minimize contamination or loss\, and unders
 tand documentation practices that support continuity and accuracy in casew
 ork. Emphasis is placed on reinforcing professional standards that can be 
 applied across a variety of investigative environments.&nbsp\;<br />\n<br 
 />\nThis course is designed for fire investigators\, law enforcement perso
 nnel\, and other professionals who may be responsible for handling evidenc
 e in the field. It is also an excellent preparatory step for those intendi
 ng to pursue the IAAI Evidence Collection Technician (ECT) Practicum.&nbsp
