  foundational course provides comprehensive instruction on the identificat
 ion\, preservation\, and collection of evidence at fire and arson scenes. 
 Participants will gain knowledge of proper techniques\, tools\, and protoc
 ols that ensure evidence is collected systematically and maintained in a m
 anner that upholds its integrity and reliability throughout the investigat
 ive process.&nbsp\;<br />\n<br />\nThrough a combination of lecture and pr
 actical discussion\, students will explore common types of physical eviden
 ce encountered during fire investigations\, learn strategies to minimize c
 ontamination or loss\, and understand documentation practices that support
  continuity and accuracy in casework. Emphasis is placed on reinforcing pr
 ofessional standards that can be applied across a variety of investigative
  environments.&nbsp\;<br />\n<br />\nThis course is designed for fire inve
 stigators\, law enforcement personnel\, and other professionals who may be
  responsible for handling evidence in the field. It is also an excellent p
 reparatory step for those intending to pursue the IAAI Evidence Collection
