 Witness Courtroom Testimony course walks you through what it&rsquo\;s like
  to prepare for and testify as an expert witness in a real case. During th
 e class\, you will spend time with actual attorneys giving your deposition
 \, preparing for your testimony\, as well as spending the day in a real co
 urtroom environment where you will take the stand for direct and cross-exa
 mination.</div>\n<div>The classroom portion includes Legal System Overview
 \; Court Rules and Case Law\; Qualifying as an Expert and Standing by Your
  Curriculum Vitae\; and How to Write and Present Your Opinion Analysis.</d

 Practical Exercise\; Court Exhibits: How to Present and what should be Inc
 luded\; Presentation of Evidence: Best Practices\; and Working with an Att
 orney.</div>\n<div>This course meets the testimony requirement for IAAI-CF
 I&reg\; (IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator) application.</div>\n<div><br />

 fire investigation industry.</div>\n<div>Specific Work Experience: A minim
 um of seven fire scenes that you were the lead Origin &amp\; Cause Investi
 gator.</div>\n<div>Able to meet all the requirements of the IAAI-CFI&reg\;
  application except for the expert witness testimony requirement.</div>\n<
 div><br />\n</div>\n<div>The course requires more than 40 hours of prelimi
 nary casework\, for which you have at least six weeks to prepare and submi
 t.&nbsp\; Students will be required to update (or create) their Curriculum
  Vitae (CV)\, develop an opinion analysis and court testimony plan\, and c
