ic Systems in person training program is intended to give participants a f
undamental knowledge and understanding of the electrical aspects of photov
oltaic systems\, commonly referred to as Solar Power Generation Systems.&n
bsp\; This program will include a brief history of photovoltaic cells and
systems and discuss how photovoltaic power contributes to the electric gri
 d. The program will include a review of the fundamentals of electricity an
d discuss how they are applied within a solar array.&nbsp\; The various co
mponents of a photovoltaic system will be presented and the interaction of
the various components in a cell\, module\, and array will be explained a
s it relates the power generating function&nbsp\; of the overall photovolt
aic system. Safety protocols relevant to the investigation of fires involv
ing photovoltaic systems will be introduced\, and common failures in these
systems will also be identified.&nbsp\; Case studies will be utilized as
appropriate to illustrate the practical application of the information pre
sented in this course.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>At the end of this
