 ow insurance professionals how to identify Wi-Fi smart plugs in residentia
 l homes\, and discuss where to obtain electronic data associated with thes
 e increasingly common devices. We will discuss the potential use of wi-fi 
 smart devices as remote ignition sources for fires. We will also highlight
  a fire investigation case study where smart plug data was integral to det
 ermining the fire origin and cause. Additionally\, we will discuss other n
 on-traditional sources of digital data and how this data can impact your i

 />\nSince 2014\, Daniel has worked as a Special Agent with the Bureau of A
 lcohol\, Tobacco\, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) assigned to the Baltimore
  Field Division&rsquo\;s Arson and Explosive Investigations group. In 2019
 \, he completed the two-year ATF Certified Fire Investigator Candidate tra
 ining program. Prior to his employment with ATF\, Daniel served as a Deput
 y State Fire Marshal with the Maryland State Police\, Office of the State 
 Fire Marshal\, for approximately five years.&nbsp\;<br />\nDaniel graduate
 d from the University of New Haven with dual Bachelor of Science Degrees i
 n Fire/Arson Investigation and Fire Administration as well as a minor in C
 riminal Justice. In 2022\, he graduated from Oklahoma State University wit
 h a Master of Science Degree in Forensic Science.<br />\n<div style="font-
