\nT he New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigat ors (NJIAAI) constantly strives to serve our members with the best possibl e fire investigation training\, information\, and networking opportunities . This is a 3-day\, NJIAAI Motor Vehicle Fire Investigation Course consist ing of 24 hours tested instruction in determining origin and cause of moto r vehicle fires. \; Included in this course will be a live demonstrati on of vehicle fire utilizing the team concept. Attendees will "dig" an inv estigation of a vehicle fire scenario and construct a report to present th eir findings to the class. Based on Chapter 26 of NFPA 921\, topics will i nclude: vehicle investigation safety\, fuel packages\, ignition sources\, and vehicle systems and identification. \;

\nA class sche dule will be provided the first day of class.

\nPrior to the start of the Basic Fire Inve stigation Course\, each student must complete the following Fire and Explo sion Investigation training from CFI Trainer.net:
\n\nCFI Trainer.net is free and will be referred to throughout the class. It can be found at https://www.cfitrainer.net. You must register to be able to c omplete the assignments and will receive a transcript of the training comp leted. Once registered\, the site allows you to proceed at your own pace\, over a number of days as needed. During the first day of class the transc ripts of your training completion will be collected. \;\n
