l fire investigators should know and consider during their investigations.
Topics will include right of entry\, responsibility\, questioning of wit
nesses/suspects\, spoliation and rules of evidence.

\nThere w
ill then be a round table/panel discussion focusing on some of the major c
ase law which impacts fire investigation work. Michigan v. Tyler\, Michig
an v. Clifford\, USA v. Rahman and other important cases will be discussed
. Participation is encouraged!

\nWe are also pleased to host
speakers from the Department of Business Regulations - Insurance Division
. They will be speaking about RI State Law which regulates the conduct of
board-up companies and insurance adjusters while on a fire scene.
