 is a 3 1/2 day class on investigating fires on marine vessels. Developed t
 hrough a collaboration between the IAAI and the American Boat and Yacht Co
 uncil (ABYC)\, students receive training from IAAI facilitators\, industry
  leading marine fire investigations\, marine surveyors\, engineers and spe
 cial investigators. Topics will include the following: safety\, hot surfac
 e ignition\, marine explosions\, electrical systems\, vessel terminology\,
  interviews\, data collection\, scientific method\, methodology\, legal co
 nsiderations and evidence. Utilizing the team concept\, classes conclude w
 ith a hands-on investigation of a Pre-burnt vessel\, generation of a preli
 minary report\, and presentation of each team's findings to the class.</di
 v>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>Upon completion of this class\, students wil
 l understand marine vessel terminology\, concepts of how marine electrical
  and propulsion systems are configured and operate\, and safe and practica
 l methods of investigating marine fires.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div>
