iche to Necessity: Integrated Campus Services and the Changing Role of the
  Online Enterprise</span></strong><br />\n<br />\n<span style="font-size:
 13px\;">\nApril 11\, 2022\, 9:30 AM - Noon<br />\nDisney's Coronado Spring
s<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nThe pandemic has shifted how colleges and univers
ities design and deliver education and the corresponding support to studen
ts and faculty. One notable change is the desire for universal access to t
echnology-mediated support services regardless of course delivery modality
. But what does that mean for online enterprises\, charged with and someti
mes solely-funded by online learning tuition? How do online teams shift fr
om serving a subpopulation of faculty and learners to an entire institutio
n? What campus systems and processes need to change to accommodate the int
egration? How do online leaders collaborate with their peers across the in
stitution to create campus infrastructures that support learners across mo
dalities? Join online leaders as they share how they are filling a new cri
tical role on their campuses by designing and delivering support services
for all.&nbsp\;<br />\n<br />\nThe April 2022 Roundtable is the annual con
vening of the Council for Chief Online Learning Officers (C-COLO). Attenda
nce is limited to COLOs registered for the 2022 Summit for Online Leadersh
ip and Administration. Each UPCEA member institution has the opportunity t
o identify a COLO to represent them in the Council.<br />\n<br />\nEach in
stitution&rsquo\;s delegate to the Council will be able to attend C-COLO c
onvenings and will be at the forefront of UPCEA&rsquo\;s growing number of
  online initiatives.<br />\n<br />\nCOLOs/C-COLO delegates:&nbsp\;<br />\n

14px\;">\n*What is a Chief Online Learning Officer (COLO)</span></strong><
br />\nA Chief Online Learning Officer (COLO) is the decision-maker for an
online enterprise (whether at the unit\, college\, or institutional level
). COLOs are accountable to the online enterprise and make the decisions t
o advance the strategy\, leadership\, and vision of postsecondary online e
ducation. At the operational level\, a COLO makes the critical path decisi
ons for an online enterprise (e.g. technology\, outsourcing strategic enro
llment management vs. building internal teams\, etc.). UPCEA recognizes th
ere is diversity in such roles and decisions. COLOs are sometimes professi
onal or continuing education deans with online in their portfolio\, while
others are solely focused on online learning.<br />\n<br />\nFor more info
