 more opportunities for eDC members\, this ThinkTank is entirely virtual. T
 his is a two-hour event where we get to know a new university team and hav
 e a working session together.</span></p>\n<p><span></span></p>\n<p class="
 MsoNormal">Join members of Johns Hopkins University&rsquo\;s Centers for\n
 Learning Design and Digital and Media Initiatives as they recount the jour
 ney\ntowards engineering success in online programs\, learn more about the
  team and\nhow they collaborate\, their course development process\, and w
 here they are\nheaded into the future. <o:p></o:p></p>\n<p>\n</p>\n<p clas
 s="MsoNormal">The design and development of Johns Hopkins Engineering for\
 nProfessionals&rsquo\; (EP) online and virtual live graduate engineering c
 lass\nofferings are supported by its two centers: Center for Learning Desi
 gn (CLD)\nand the Center for Digital and Media Initiatives (CDMI). The CLD
  and CDMI\npartner closely to create high-quality online graduate engineer
 ing courses.\nThey apply a systematic\, collaborative design and developme
 nt approach that\nleverages their collective expertise in online course pe
 dagogy\, faculty\ndevelopment\, student motivation and engagement\, educat
 ional technology\, and\nmultimedia\, all while developing and maintaining 
 personal relationships between\nstaff and faculty.</p>\n<p class="MsoNorma
 l"><o:p></o:p></p>\n<p>\n</p>\n<p class="MsoNormal">Engineering for Profes
 sionals&rsquo\; mostly adjunct faculty are\nleaders in their professional 
 fields and are supported by both the\nacademy-style professional developme
 nt offerings and a 1:1 assignment to a\nhighly qualified instructional des
 igner. The ID manages the entire project from\nstart to finish\, including
  helping faculty conceptualize the overall design of\nthe course\, develop
 ing content\, preparing to teach\, and more. The data-driven\,\nsystematic
  and scalable course development process has evolved over time and\nserved
  to guide EP in the creation of more than 300 online courses.</p>\n<p>\n</

 r to the event. We encourage you to read these instructions carefully and 
 test your system prior to the ThinkTank. The ThinkTank will be hosted on a
  system provided by the featured institution\, not UPCEA technology. &nbsp
 \; <br />\n<br />\n<strong>Registration:&nbsp\; </strong>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;<br />\nYour registration wi
 ll not be complete until you have both completed the registration form and
  submitted your payment (for non-UPCEA members). UPCEA reserves the right 
 to cancel the event if a minimum number of registrants has not been reache
 d 30 days prior to the event. Full refunds will be granted to paid partici
 pants if UPCEA cancels the event. <br />\n<br />\n<strong>Refunds:</strong
 ><br />\nAll registration cancellations must be made in writing and receiv
 ed 30 days prior to the event. No refunds or credits will be granted\, rat
