\n Your regist ration will not be complete until you have both completed the registration form and paid. \;To attend the 2019 UPCEA South Region C onference and take advantage of the Early Registration Fee\, you must fill out the online registration form and pay the registration fee by August 1 9\, 2019. \;The Regular Registration Fee wi ll apply beginning August 20\, 2019 and ending September 16\, 2019. To att end the 2019 UPCEA South Region Conference and take advantage of the Regula r Registration Fee\, you must fill out the online registration form and pa y the registration fee by September 16\, 2019. The Late Registration Fee w ill apply beginning September 17\, 2019. Payment for the full amount of th e Late Registration Fee must be made by October 13\, 2019. \; The On Site Regist ration Fee will apply as of the first day of the conference (October 14\, 2019). \;

Event Description
\nThe UPCEA South Regional Conf erence brings together leaders and professionals who are devoted to the fi eld of higher education.

The 2019 conference will offer opportunities to expand our knowledge\, inc rease connectivity\, and to hear from dynamic speakers. I am most excited about the possibilities for engagement throughout the conference. Make it a point to connect with members from neighboring states or introduce yours elf to someone new during a concurrent session.

This conference is indeed a time to celebrate the ac complishments of our peers\, observe the results of our growing partnershi ps and appreciate the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. Orlando has a lot to offer. Take some time to explore the entertainment\, theme parks\, and culinary delights.

Conference Photo Policy
\nRegistrants of the 2019 UPCEA South Region Conference agree to allow UPCEA and its official photographe r to photograph them in the context of the conference. Footage captured by the official photographer may be used in future print and electronic prom otional and archival materials. Affiliated Even ts Policy
\nThe association has gone to great lengt hs and expense to negotiate and contract for a reduced room rate at confer ence hotels. \;That rate is based upon the projected attendance at the meeting. \;If corporate member and nonmember attendees elect to stay at other hotels\, it subjects the association to attrition penalties that can cause significant financial loss to the association. \;We count on our corporate community to support the association\, and one of the ways to do that is to honor our efforts to secure a sufficiently large room blo ck at a reduced rate at a first class hotel/conference venue. \; \;

For these reasons\, corp orate member and nonmember attendees are prohibited from holding any meeti ngs (briefings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-mile radius\, targeting prof essional\, continuing\, and online leaders in higher education during the scheduled hours of UPCEA events unless otherwise negotiated and scheduled with and by UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring within 36 hours before or af ter the UPCEA conference must be coordinated with UPCEA and\, space permit ting\, be held at the conference hotel. \; This policy helps ensure th at the association&rsquo\;s contracted obligations to the hotel for guest rooms and food and beverage minimums are met\, which is essential for the financial health of the association and its members. If UPCEA cannot find space for the corporate member or nonmember attendee&rsquo\;s event at the contracted hotel\, we will work to help find alternative space. \; In no circumstances\, however\, is it permissible for a corporate member or nonmember attendee to contract a separate hotel block\, either at the conf erence hotel or elsewhere. \;

UPCEA reserves the right to prohibit corporate member and nonmembe r attendees \;who violate this policy from exhibiting or participatin g at UPCEA events.
