  May 16\, 2023. The Regular Registration Fee will apply beginning May 17\,
  2023 and ending June 27\, 2023. To attend the 2023 DT&amp\;L/SOLA and tak
 e advantage of the Regular Registration Fee\, you must fill out the online
  registration form and pay the registration fee by June 27\, 2023. The Lat
 e Registration Fee will apply beginning June 28\, 2023. Payment for the fu
 ll amount of the Late Registration Fee must be made by July 24\, 2023.&nbs

 /p>\n<p dir="ltr">UPCEA and UW-Madison are partnering to host the 2023 Dis
 tance Teaching and Learning (DT&amp\;L) Conference. UPCEA is co-locating t
 he Summit for Online Leadership and Administration + Roundtable (SOLA+R) w
 ith DT&amp\;L to create a comprehensive\, holistic\, and unique opportunit
 y for the online community to learn and network together\, in one location
 &mdash\;Madison\, WI.&nbsp\; <em>(Registration for the Online Leadership R
 oundtable will be separate.)</em></p>\n<p dir="ltr">This comprehensive exp
 erience brings together all the elements of the online enterprise in a hol
 istic way&mdash\;from teaching and learning to leadership and administrati
 on&mdash\;preserving the salient issues for these two distinct professiona
 l communities\, while catalyzing dialogue across all facets of the larger 
 field.</p>\n<p dir="ltr">Since 1985\, UW-Madison&rsquo\;s DT&amp\;L Confer
 ence has provided a transformative professional development experience for
  individuals working in the field of distance\, hybrid and online educatio
 n &ndash\; from faculty and instructors to instructional designers and adm
 inistrators. This event perfectly complements UPCEA&rsquo\;s more than 100
  years of advocating for the Wisconsin Idea\, namely\, that the benefits o
 f the university should extend beyond the walls of campus to the communiti
 es they serve. A century later\, the powerful vision that fueled the exten
 sion movement has found its purest form in online and professional continu
 ing education. And that is what drives UPCEA today.</p>\n<p dir="ltr">Over
  the past decade\, UPCEA&rsquo\;s Summit for Online Leadership and Adminis
 tration + Roundtable\, or SOLA+R\, has grown into the leading event and pr
 ofessional home for chief online learning officers and their staff. DT&amp
 \;L&rsquo\;s focus on online teaching and learning was the ideal complemen
 t for SOLA+R. Co-locating both events will expand the community of profess
 ionals in the field\, creating an even more valuable conference experience
  for all. The program will focus on addressing the rapidly changing online
  learning landscape with the most current topics\, technologies\, and inno
 vations that inform best practices\, strategies\, and online leadership.</
 p>\n<p>Those of you who have attended past DT&amp\;L and SOLA+R conference
 s already know these events provide the opportunity to discover relevant r
 esearch\, innovative tools\, and cutting-edge thinking and perspectives. A
 nd\, of course\, there&rsquo\;s the chance to network and brainstorm with 
 colleagues who share your focus\, passion\, and challenges for creating hi
 gh-quality online and distance education<strong><br />\n<br />\nRefunds</s
 trong><br />\nAll registration cancellation and refund requests must be ma
 de in writing.&nbsp\; Full refunds will be granted for cancellations recei
 ved by May 2\, 2023.&nbsp\; A refund of the conference fee\, minus a $75 a
 dministrative fee\, will be given for cancellations received between May 3
  &ndash\; June 27\, 2023.&nbsp\; No refunds or credits will be granted for

 gree to allow UPCEA and its official photographer to photograph them in th
 e context of the conference. Footage captured by the official photographer
  may be used in future print and electronic promotional and archival mater

 <p><strong><span style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">Affiliated Ev
 ents Policy</span></strong><span style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\
 ;"><br />\nThe association has gone to great lengths and expense to negoti
 ate and contract for a reduced room rate at conference hotels.&nbsp\;That 
 rate is based upon the projected attendance at the meeting.&nbsp\;If corpo
 rate member and nonmember attendees elect to stay at other hotels\, it sub
 jects the association to attrition penalties that can cause significant fi
 nancial loss to the association.&nbsp\;We count on our corporate community
  to support the association\, and one of the ways to do that is to honor o
 ur efforts to secure a sufficiently large room block at a reduced rate at 
 a first class hotel/conference venue. &nbsp\;&nbsp\; </span></p>\n<p> </p>
 \n<p><span style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">For these reasons\,
  corporate member and nonmember attendees are prohibited from holding any 
 meetings (briefings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-mile radius\, targeting
  professional\, continuing\, and online leaders in higher education during
  the scheduled hours of UPCEA events unless otherwise negotiated and sched
 uled with and by UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring within 36 hours before 
 or after the UPCEA conference must be coordinated with UPCEA and\, space p
 ermitting\, be held at the conference hotel.&nbsp\; This policy helps ensu
 re that the association&rsquo\;s contracted obligations to the hotel for g
 uest rooms and food and beverage minimums are met\, which is essential for
  the financial health of the association and its members. If UPCEA cannot 
 find space for the corporate member or nonmember attendee&rsquo\;s event a
 t the contracted hotel\, we will work to help find alternative space.&nbsp
 \; In no circumstances\, however\, is it permissible for a corporate membe
 r or nonmember attendee to contract a separate hotel block\, either at the
  conference hotel or elsewhere.&nbsp\; </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span sty
 le="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">UPCEA reserves the right to prohi
 bit corporate member and nonmember attendees who violate this policy from
