 epresentatives to the CCI\, as well as Institutional Representatives who a

 unity to identify a senior leader from their organization to represent the

 br />\n<p dir="ltr"><strong>What is a Chief Credential Innovation Officer?
 </strong></p>\n<span>A Chief Credential Innovation Officer (CCIO) is a sen
 ior leader for enterprise-wide credential innovation\, at the unit\, colle
 ge\, or institutional level. CCIOs are accountable for the credentialing p
 ortfolio\, making decisions to advance the strategy\, leadership\, and vis
 ion of postsecondary credentialing\, including but not limited to technolo
 gy\, pedagogy\, external affairs\, nomenclature\, and governance. UPCEA re
 cognizes there is diversity in such roles and decisions. CCIOs are sometim
 es professional or online education leaders\, with alternative credentials
  in their portfolio\, while others are solely focused on alternative crede
 ntials.</span>\n<p><span><br />\n</span></p>\n<p>CCIOs:&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\
 n<ul>\n    <li>Meet for peer-to-peer networking and to discuss issues rela
 ted to leadership\, strategy\, management\, and public policy at the annua
 l convening.</li>\n    <li>Have access to special content focusing on the 
 CCIO perspective at events such as Convergence and the UPCEA Annual Confer
 ence\, as well as Strategic Conversations\, high-level\, virtual briefings
  held semi-annually on topics of import.</li>\n    <li>Communicate via a d
 edicated CORe channel for the credential community to share candid questio
