 mic integrity\, and critical thinking skills?<br />\nAs the use of AI in e
 ducation continues to grow\, it is crucial that we discuss how this techno
 logy can be leveraged to enhance the student experience. Generative AI has
  the potential to streamline the course design process and provide student
 s with personalized learning experiences that promote critical thinking an
 d academic integrity. This session will bring together ideas for activitie
 s and faculty professional development focused on the potential benefits a
 nd challenges of using generative AI in course design\, course design\, ac
 ademic integrity\, and building and strengthening critical thinking skills

 s?<br />\n<br />\nWith its ability to create complex\, dynamic content\, g
 enerative AI has the potential to revolutionize the way students engage wi
 th course material. At Northwestern University School of Professional Stud
 ies\, we strive to be a national leader in continuing and professional edu
 cation by providing innovative learning opportunities that serve the lifel
 ong learning needs of our students. Our practitioner faculty are leaders i
 n their fields\, including data science\, natural language processing\, an
 d artificial intelligence. Thoughtfully incorporating generative AI into o
 ur course design and development process is a natural evolution of our pra
 ctices.<br />\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<strong>Access:<br />\n</strong>\n<p>D
 etailed instructions on how to access the ThinkTank will be provided a day
  prior to the event. We encourage you to read these instructions carefully
  and test your system prior to the ThinkTank. The ThinkTank will be hosted
  on a system provided by the featured institution\, not UPCEA technology.&
 nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Registration:&nbsp\;<br />\n</strong>Your r
 egistration will not be complete until you have both completed the registr
 ation form and submitted your payment (for non-UPCEA members). UPCEA reser
 ves the right to cancel the event if a minimum number of registrants has n
 ot been reached 30 days prior to the event. Full refunds will be granted t
 o paid participants if UPCEA cancels the event.</p>\n<p><span>\n<strong>Re
 funds:</strong><br />\nAll registration cancellations must be made in writ
 ing and received 30 days prior to the event. No refunds or credits will be
  granted\, rather paid registrations can be moved to another 2023 ThinkTan
 k event. Please submit all requests to Jacqueline Romero at jromero@upcea.
 edu. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute from
  the same organization. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.</span></p>
