 A Annual Conference and take advantage of the Early Registration Fee\, you
  must fill out the online registration form and pay the registration fee b
 y January 3\, 2023. The Regular Registration Fee will apply beginning Janu
 ary 4\, 2023 and ending February 22\, 2023. To attend the 2023 UPCEA Annua
 l Conference and take advantage of the Regular Registration Fee\, you must
  fill out the online registration form and pay the registration fee by Feb
 ruary 22\, 2023. The Late Registration Fee will apply beginning February 2
 3\, 2023. Payment for the full amount of the Late Registration Fee must be
  made by March 21\, 2023. The On Site Registration Fee will apply as of th
 e first day of the conference (March 22\, 2023). <br />\n<br />\n<p dir="l

 EA reserves the right to cancel registrations that go unpaid prior to the

 />\n</strong>\n<p>The <strong>UPCEA Annual Conference</strong> is the most
  significant assembly of thought leaders and practitioners today in the fi
 eld of professional\, continuing\, and online education. Join us March 22-
 24\, 2023 in Washington\, DC for engaging keynote speakers\, high-energy c
 oncurrent sessions\, and plentiful networking opportunities.<br />\n<br />
 \nThe Annual Conference convenes deans and other senior university leaders
 \, key staff\, and teams responsible for the management\, administration\,
  and growth of professional\, continuing\, and online education programs. 
 Attendees have access to targeted sessions spanning the top areas of pract
 ice in our field (aligned with UPCEA's six professional Networks)\, led by
  higher education experts and colleagues.<br />\n<br />\nAttendees will al
 so find targeted sessions on the most pressing topics in the field today -
  including federal policy\, finance and operations\, marketing and enrollm
 ent management\, instructional design\, noncredit programs\, alternative c
 redentialing\, and more.<br />\n<br />\n<strong data-stringify-type="bold"
 >Health and Safety</strong><br />\nBy registering for this event\, you agr
 ee to abide by the host hotel's\, local\, state\, and UPCEA's health and s
 afety guidelines in effect as of the conference dates.</p>\n<p dir="ltr" s
 tyle="line-height: 1.38\; margin-top: 12pt\; margin-bottom: 12pt\;">UPCEA 
 recommends that attendees be up to date on their vaccinations\, and wear a
  properly fitting face mask during UPCEA events at all public indoor space
 s. Conference attendees are reminded to be respectful of individual&nbsp\;
  choices made by fellow attendees\, UPCEA staff\, and others at the confer
 ence. These guidelines are subject to change at any point\, and attendees 
 will be notified if any additional requirements are implemented.&nbsp\;</p
 >\n<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38\; margin-top: 12pt\; margin-botto
 m: 12pt\;"><strong><em>Waiver</em></strong><br />\nCOVID-19 has been decla
 red a global pandemic by the World Health Organization and is extremely co
 ntagious. UPCEA cannot guarantee that attendees will not become infected w
 ith COVID-19 as a result of participation in the conference. By registerin
 g for the conference\, I:</p>\n<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38\; mar

 e\;">	</span>acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19\;<br />\n<br />

 isk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending UPCEA ev
 ents which exposure or infection may come from the actions\, omissions\, o
 r negligence of myself and others\, including\, but not limited to\, UPCEA
  employees\, volunteers\, and program participants and their families\;&nb
 sp\;<br />\n<br />\n&bull\;<span style="white-space: pre\;">	</span>acknow
 ledge that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury\, illn
 ess\, permanent disability\, and death\; and&nbsp\;<br />\n<br />\n&bull\;
 <span style="white-space: pre\;">	</span>hereby release\, covenant not to 
 sue\, discharge\, and hold harmless UPCEA\, its employees\, agents\, and r
 epresentatives\, of and from any injury to me resulting from being exposed
  to or infected by COVID-19 in connection with my attendance at UPCEA even
 ts (including claims based on the actions\, omissions\, or negligence of U
 PCEA\, its employees\, agents\, and representatives).</p>\n<p><strong>\nRe
 funds</strong><br />\nAll registration cancellation and refund requests mu
 st be made in writing.&nbsp\; Full refunds will be granted for cancellatio
 ns received by January 3\, 2023.&nbsp\; A refund of the conference fee\, m
 inus a $75 administrative fee\, will be given for cancellations received b
 etween January 4 &ndash\; February 22\, 2023.&nbsp\; No refunds or credits
  will be granted for cancellations after February 22\, 2023. Please submit

 a substitute from the same organization. Refunds will not be given for no-
 shows.&nbsp\; <strong>Please note that all cancellation fees apply even if

 ce Photo Policy</strong><br />\nRegistrants of the 2023 UPCEA Annual Confe
 rence agree to allow UPCEA and its official photographer to photograph the
 m in the context of the conference. Footage captured by the official photo
 grapher may be used in future print and electronic promotional and archiva

 <p><strong>Affiliated Events Policy</strong><br />\nThe association has go
 ne to great lengths and expense to negotiate and contract for a reduced ro
 om rate at conference hotels.&nbsp\;That rate is based upon the projected 
 attendance at the meeting.&nbsp\;If <g class="gr_ gr_99 gr-alert gr_gramm 
 gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="99" da
 ta-gr-id="99">corporate</g> member and <g class="gr_ gr_98 gr-alert gr_spe
 ll gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="98" data-gr
 -id="98">nonmember</g> attendees elect to stay at other hotels\, it subjec
 ts the association to attrition penalties that can cause significant finan
 cial loss to the association.&nbsp\;We count on our corporate community to
  support the association\, and one of the ways to do that is to honor our 
 efforts to secure a sufficiently large room block at a reduced rate at a f
 irst class hotel/conference venue. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\
 n<p>For these reasons\, corporate member and <g class="gr_ gr_107 gr-alert
  gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="107"
  data-gr-id="107">nonmember</g> attendees are prohibited from holding any 
 meetings (briefings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-mile radius\, targeting
  professional\, continuing\, and online leaders in higher education during
  the scheduled hours of UPCEA events unless otherwise negotiated and sched
 uled with and by UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring within 36 hours before 
 or after the UPCEA conference must be coordinated with UPCEA and\, space p
 ermitting\, be held at the conference hotel.&nbsp\; This policy helps ensu
 re that the association&rsquo\;s contracted obligations to the hotel for g
 uest rooms and food and beverage minimums are met\, which is essential for
  the financial health of the association and its members. If UPCEA cannot 
 find space for the corporate member or <g class="gr_ gr_109 gr-alert gr_sp
 ell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="109" data-
 gr-id="109">nonmember</g> attendee&rsquo\;s event at the contracted hotel\
 , we will work to help find alternative space.&nbsp\; In no circumstances\
 , however\, is it permissible for a corporate member or nonmember attendee
  to contract a separate hotel block\, either at the conference hotel or el
 sewhere.&nbsp\; </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>UPCEA reserves the 
 right to prohibit corporate member and <g class="gr_ gr_93 gr-alert gr_spe
 ll gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="93" data-gr
 -id="93">nonmember</g> attendees who violate this policy from exhibiting o
