 ong>Event Description<br />\n</strong>\n<p>The <strong>UPCEA Annual Confer
 ence</strong> is the most significant assembly of thought leaders and prac
 titioners today in the field of professional\, continuing\, and online edu
 cation. Join us April 15-17\, 2026 in New Orleans\, LA for engaging keynot
 e speakers\, high-energy concurrent sessions\, and plentiful networking op
 portunities.<br />\nThe Annual Conference convenes deans and other senior 
 university leaders\, key staff\, and teams responsible for the management\
 , administration\, and growth of professional\, continuing\, and online ed
 ucation programs. Attendees have access to targeted sessions spanning the 
 top areas of practice in our field (aligned with UPCEA's seven professiona
 l Networks)\, led by higher education experts and colleagues.<br />\nAtten
 dees will also find targeted sessions on the most pressing topics in the f
 ield today - including federal policy\, finance and operations\, marketing
  and enrollment management\, instructional design\, noncredit programs\, a
 lternative credentialing\, and more.<br />\n<br />\n<strong data-stringify
 -type="bold">Health and Safety</strong>\nBy registering for this event\, y
 ou agree to abide by the host hotel's\, local\, state\, and UPCEA's health
  and safety guidelines in effect as of the conference dates.</p>\n<p dir="
 ltr" style="line-height: 1.38\; margin-top: 12pt\; margin-bottom: 12pt\;">
 UPCEA recommends that attendees be up to date on their vaccinations\, and 
 wear a properly fitting face mask during UPCEA events at all public indoor
  spaces. Conference attendees are reminded to be respectful of individual&
 nbsp\; choices made by fellow attendees\, UPCEA staff\, and others at the 
 conference. These guidelines are subject to change at any point\, and atte
 ndees will be notified if any additional requirements are implemented.&nbs
 p\;</p>\n<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38\; margin-top: 12pt\; margin
 -bottom: 12pt\;"><strong><em>Waiver</em></strong>\nCOVID-19 has been decla
 red a global pandemic by the World Health Organization and is extremely co
 ntagious. UPCEA cannot guarantee that attendees will not become infected w
 ith COVID-19 as a result of participation in the conference. By registerin
 g for the conference\, I:</p>\n<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38\; mar

 e\;">	</span>acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19\;\n&bull\;<span

  be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending UPCEA events which exp
 osure or infection may come from the actions\, omissions\, or negligence o
 f myself and others\, including\, but not limited to\, UPCEA employees\, v
 olunteers\, and program participants and their families\;\n&bull\;<span st
 yle="white-space: pre\;">	</span>acknowledge that such exposure or infecti
 on may result in personal injury\, illness\, permanent disability\, and de
 ath\; and&nbsp\;\n&bull\;<span style="white-space: pre\;">	</span>hereby r
 elease\, covenant not to sue\, discharge\, and hold harmless UPCEA\, its e
 mployees\, agents\, and representatives\, of and from any injury to me res
 ulting from being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 in connection with my
  attendance at UPCEA events (including claims based on the actions\, omiss
 ions\, or negligence of UPCEA\, its employees\, agents\, and representativ
 es).</p>\n<p><strong>\nRefunds</strong>\nAll registration cancellation and
  refund requests must be made in writing.&nbsp\; Full refunds will be gran
 ted for cancellations received by December 10\, 2025.&nbsp\; A refund of t
 he conference fee\, minus a $250 administrative fee\, will be given for ca
 ncellations received between December 11\, 2025 &ndash\; March 18\, 2026.&
 nbsp\; No refunds or credits will be granted for cancellations after March

 send a substitute from the same organization. Refunds will not be given fo
 r no-shows.&nbsp\; <strong>Please note that all cancellation fees apply ev

 ference Photo Policy</strong>\nRegistrants of the 2026 UPCEA Annual Confer
 ence agree to allow UPCEA and its official photographer to photograph them
  in the context of the conference. Footage captured by the official photog
 rapher may be used in future print and electronic promotional and archival

 p><strong>Affiliated Events Policy</strong>\nThe association has gone to g
 reat lengths and expense to negotiate and contract for a reduced room rate
  at conference hotels.&nbsp\;That rate is based upon the projected attenda
 nce at the meeting.&nbsp\;If <g class="gr_ gr_99 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inli
 ne_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="99" data-gr-i
 d="99">corporate</g> member and <g class="gr_ gr_98 gr-alert gr_spell gr_i
 nline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="98" data-gr-id="98
 ">nonmember</g> attendees elect to stay at other hotels\, it subjects the 
 association to attrition penalties that can cause significant financial lo
 ss to the association.&nbsp\;We count on our corporate community to suppor
 t the association\, and one of the ways to do that is to honor our efforts
  to secure a sufficiently large room block at a reduced rate at a first cl
 ass hotel/conference venue. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For
  these reasons\, corporate member and <g class="gr_ gr_107 gr-alert gr_spe
 ll gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="107" data-g
 r-id="107">nonmember</g> attendees are prohibited from holding any meeting
 s (briefings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-mile radius\, targeting profes
 sional\, continuing\, and online leaders in higher education during the sc
 heduled hours of UPCEA events unless otherwise negotiated and scheduled wi
 th and by UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring within 36 hours before or afte
 r the UPCEA conference must be coordinated with UPCEA and\, space permitti
 ng\, be held at the conference hotel.&nbsp\; This policy helps ensure that
  the association&rsquo\;s contracted obligations to the hotel for guest ro
 oms and food and beverage minimums are met\, which is essential for the fi
 nancial health of the association and its members. If UPCEA cannot find sp
 ace for the corporate member or <g class="gr_ gr_109 gr-alert gr_spell gr_
 inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="109" data-gr-id="
 109">nonmember</g> attendee&rsquo\;s event at the contracted hotel\, we wi
 ll work to help find alternative space.&nbsp\; In no circumstances\, howev
 er\, is it permissible for a corporate member or nonmember attendee to con
 tract a separate hotel block\, either at the conference hotel or elsewhere
 .&nbsp\; </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>UPCEA reserves the right t
 o prohibit corporate member and <g class="gr_ gr_93 gr-alert gr_spell gr_i
 nline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="93" data-gr-id="93
 ">nonmember</g> attendees who violate this policy from exhibiting or parti
