 attendee registration rate.</span><br />\n&nbsp\;<br />\nThe following&nbs
 p\;exhibitor <span>rules and regulations&nbsp\;</span>supplement the Onlin
 e Registration to Contract for Exhibit Space at the Conference. By complet
 ing the above Online Registration to Contract for Exhibit Space\, the exhi
 bitor agrees to be bound by and adhere to the following terms\, rules and 
 regulations and all amendments thereto and decisions of UPCEA and the Hyat
 t Regency Minneapolis.<br />\n<br />\n<strong>Cancellation of Booth Space:
 </strong><br />\nAll requests to cancel a booth space must be made in writ
 ing to Brandan Kaiser at <a href="mailto:bkaiser@upcea.edu">bkaiser@upcea.
 edu</a>. If an exhibitor places a cancellation\, the following shall apply
 :\n<ul style="list-style-type: disc\;">\n    <li>A 40% refund will be gran
 ted where notice of cancellation is received by UPCEA 60 days prior to the
  first day of the event</li>\n    <li>No refund will be granted for cancel
 lation requests received less than 60 days prior to the first day of the e
 vent. Once the booth is canceled\, UPCEA reserves the right to resell the 
 space.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Affiliated Events Policy</strong>\nThe asso
 ciation has gone to great lengths and expense to negotiate and contract fo
 r a reduced room rate at conference hotels.&nbsp\;That rate is based upon 
 the projected attendance at the meeting.&nbsp\;If corporate member and non
 member attendees elect to stay at other hotels\, it subjects the associati
 on to attrition penalties that can cause significant financial loss to the
  association.&nbsp\;We count on our corporate community to support the ass
 ociation\, and one of the ways to do that is to honor our efforts to secur
 e a sufficiently large room block at a reduced rate at a first class hotel
 /conference venue. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>For these reasons\, corporate me
 mber and nonmember attendees are prohibited from holding any meetings (bri
 efings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-mile radius\, targeting professional
 \, continuing\, and online leaders in higher education during the schedule
 d hours of UPCEA events unless otherwise negotiated and scheduled with and
  by UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring within 36 hours before or after the 
 UPCEA conference must be coordinated with UPCEA and\, space permitting\, b
 e held at the conference hotel.&nbsp\; This policy helps ensure that the a
 ssociation&rsquo\;s contracted obligations to the hotel for guest rooms an
 d food and beverage minimums are met\, which is essential for the financia
 l health of the association and its members. If UPCEA cannot find space fo
 r the corporate member or nonmember attendee&rsquo\;s event at the contrac
 ted hotel\, we will work to help find alternative space.&nbsp\; In no circ
 umstances\, however\, is it permissible for a corporate member or nonmembe
 r attendee to contract a separate hotel block\, either at the conference h
 otel or elsewhere.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>UPCEA reserves the right to prohibit cor
 porate member and nonmember attendees who violate this policy from exhibit
 ing or participating at UPCEA events.</p>
