  dir="ltr">Convergence: Credential Innovation in Higher Education examines
  new and emerging trends and models\, especially at the institutional leve
 l\, in the emergent field of alternative credentials.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<
 p>Presented jointly by UPCEA and AACRAO\, two of the organizations most cr
 itical to the future development and implementation of innovative credenti
 als\, this event brings together key campus stakeholders in credential inn
 ovation&mdash\;deans of professional education\, chief online learning off
 icers\, registrars\, and their staff&mdash\;to define and develop their in
 stitutional strategy with respect to alternative credentials.<strong><br /
 >\n<br />\nRefunds</strong>\nAll registration cancellation and refund requ
 ests must be made in writing.&nbsp\; Full refunds will be granted for canc
 ellations received by June 23\, 2025.&nbsp\; A refund of the conference fe
 e\, minus a $250 administrative fee\, will be given for cancellations rece
 ived between June 24 &ndash\; August 25\, 2025.&nbsp\; No refunds or credi
 ts will be granted for cancellations after August 25\, 2025. Please submit

  conference agree to allow UPCEA and its official photographer to photogra
 ph them in the context of the conference. Footage captured by the official
  photographer may be used in future print and electronic promotional and a

 , sans-serif\;">Affiliated Events Policy</span></strong><span style="font-
 family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">\nThe association has gone to great length
 s and expense to negotiate and contract for a reduced room rate at confere
 nce hotels.&nbsp\;That rate is based upon the projected attendance at the 
 meeting.&nbsp\;If corporate member and nonmember attendees elect to stay a
 t other hotels\, it subjects the association to attrition penalties that c
 an cause significant financial loss to the association.&nbsp\;We count on 
 our corporate community to support the association\, and one of the ways t
 o do that is to honor our efforts to secure a sufficiently large room bloc
 k at a reduced rate at a first class hotel/conference venue. &nbsp\;&nbsp\
 ; </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif
 \;">For these reasons\, corporate member and nonmember attendees are prohi
 bited from holding any meetings (briefings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-
 mile radius\, targeting professional\, continuing\, and online leaders in 
 higher education during the scheduled hours of UPCEA events unless otherwi
 se negotiated and scheduled with and by UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring 
 within 36 hours before or after the UPCEA conference must be coordinated w
 ith UPCEA and\, space permitting\, be held at the conference hotel.&nbsp\;
  This policy helps ensure that the association&rsquo\;s contracted obligat
 ions to the hotel for guest rooms and food and beverage minimums are met\,
  which is essential for the financial health of the association and its me
 mbers. If UPCEA cannot find space for the corporate member or nonmember at
 tendee&rsquo\;s event at the contracted hotel\, we will work to help find 
 alternative space.&nbsp\; In no circumstances\, however\, is it permissibl
 e for a corporate member or nonmember attendee to contract a separate hote
 l block\, either at the conference hotel or elsewhere.&nbsp\; </span></p>\
 n<p> </p>\n<p><span style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">UPCEA rese
 rves the right to prohibit corporate member and nonmember attendees who vi
 olate this policy from exhibiting or participating at UPCEA events.</span>
