 023 event attendees\, the 2024 Summit for Online Leadership and Administra
 tion + Roundtable (SOLA+R) and Distance Teaching and Learning (DT&amp\;L) 
 Conference are once again co-located to create a comprehensive\, holistic\
 , and unique opportunity for digital learning innovators to learn and netw
 ork in one location. We willl celebrate the 40th Anniversary of DT&amp\;L 
 and look forward to the next 40 years of innovation and transformation in 
 beautiful Minneapolis\, MN.<br />\n<br />\nDigital teaching and leadership
  is integral to the financial stability and access mission of today&rsquo\
 ;s institutions. These two events blend the pedagogical perspectives\, bes
 t practices\, thought leadership\, and strategy that institutional leaders
  need to embrace digital transformation in post-secondary education.<br />
 \n<br />\nAttendees will have the opportunity to experience all the elemen
 ts of digital transformation and leadership in a holistic way&mdash\;from 
 teaching and learning to leadership and administration&mdash\;preserving t
 he salient issues for two distinct professional communities\, while cataly
 zing dialogue across all facets of the larger field.<br />\n<br />\nJoin k

 n style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">Affiliated Events Policy</sp
 an></strong><span style="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;"><br />\nThe 
 association has gone to great lengths and expense to negotiate and contrac
 t for a reduced room rate at conference hotels.&nbsp\;That rate is based u
 pon the projected attendance at the meeting.&nbsp\;If corporate member and
  nonmember attendees elect to stay at other hotels\, it subjects the assoc
 iation to attrition penalties that can cause significant financial loss to
  the association.&nbsp\;We count on our corporate community to support the
  association\, and one of the ways to do that is to honor our efforts to s
 ecure a sufficiently large room block at a reduced rate at a first class h
 otel/conference venue. &nbsp\;&nbsp\; </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span styl
 e="font-family: verdana\, sans-serif\;">For these reasons\, corporate memb
 er and nonmember attendees are prohibited from holding any meetings (brief
 ings\, seminars\, etc.) within a 25-mile radius\, targeting professional\,
  continuing\, and online leaders in higher education during the scheduled 
 hours of UPCEA events unless otherwise negotiated and scheduled with and b
 y UPCEA. Any such meeting occurring within 36 hours before or after the UP
 CEA conference must be coordinated with UPCEA and\, space permitting\, be 
 held at the conference hotel.&nbsp\; This policy helps ensure that the ass
 ociation&rsquo\;s contracted obligations to the hotel for guest rooms and 
 food and beverage minimums are met\, which is essential for the financial 
 health of the association and its members. If UPCEA cannot find space for 
 the corporate member or nonmember attendee&rsquo\;s event at the contracte
 d hotel\, we will work to help find alternative space.&nbsp\; In no circum
 stances\, however\, is it permissible for a corporate member or nonmember 
 attendee to contract a separate hotel block\, either at the conference hot
 el or elsewhere.&nbsp\; </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style="font-family
 : verdana\, sans-serif\;">UPCEA reserves the right to prohibit corporate m
 ember and nonmember attendees who violate this policy from exhibiting or p
