w-cost\, customized solutions\, but knowing which tools and supplies to st
art with is often the biggest barrier to entry. In this multi-part webinar
series\, we make getting started more approachable! Join us for our first
session that introduces the essential tools\, materials\, and supplies co
mmonly used in AT fabrication\, including soldering equipment\, wires\, an
d connectors of different types. Presenters will explain what each item is
used for\, how to select quality options at different budget levels\, and
how to use them safely. Attendees will leave with a foundational understa
nding of part of the maker toolkit and a practical shopping list to prepar
e for the live-build session that follows\, in which participants will fab
ricate a piece of AT chosen by audience participation during the session.&
